I want to generate a report that shows the age of the oldest incident in the New state.
For instance, if an incident was created on December 1st and is still in the New state today, the report should show the number of days between December 1st and today.

I doubt what you’re looking for is possible, but we can only get this based on the out-of-the-box reports
If my response proves useful, please indicate its helpfulness by selecting " Accept as Solution" and " Helpful." This action benefits both the community and me.

I would look into reporting on the Incident Metric [incident_metric] table with an appropriate Metric Definition.
"Create to Resolve Duration" is an out of box example that may be suitable.
The Duration [mi_duration] field will hold the age of the incident, however this will be expressed as a duration rather than a strict number of days, however this should fulfil the functional requirement using out of box functionality.
