Resizable modal in workspace?

Does anyone know a way to have a modal popup within a workspace be resizable?

 

Some of my users are using change management within a workspace and when they click the Add button in the Affected CIs related list, the users are saying that the popup is too small and want the ability to resize it.  

 

The "Add" button is a custom UI declarative action and was created using the guide here.

 

I updated the "Enable resize" property in the Modal Container (Viewport) under Modals in the Record page variant but that does not seem to make a difference.
