Retrieve the record using exact match record functionality.

I would like to understand if we can get exact match in global search  with any field like GBS Reference(string) in the screenshot, just like the number field search and access the record directly bypassing the search results. 

Attached the Images below for reference.

Got to know from the below link, that its only possible for Number field. But do we have any workaround on this , where we can make it exact match searchable and access the record directly using GBS reference field also.

Create a custom search matcher for global search 

Also try adding that Custom field in Default view for your List on your sc_task table
