RITM Stage and State Completed and Close Complete

Trying to figure out what maps the OOB behavior that when the workflow reaches the end, the RITM is set to Complete and Closed Complete. I have an instance where this isn't true and wondering what is missing to cause this not to work.

The OOB behavior where a RITM is set to "Complete" and "Closed Complete" when the workflow ends is managed by workflow activities and business rules. make sure that that the final workflow activity sets the RITM state to "Complete" and check that the "Request Item Complete" business rule is active and correctly configured.

ALso, verify that there are no custom business rules or SI interfering with this process and that the state transitions are properly configured.

If you are requests are driven by Flow Designer flows you'll want to check the "Flow States" on your individual flows.

Once the RITM is no longer active there is a Business rule ("Close Parent if Required" on sc_req_item) that roles up to the Request to "close" the request as well
