Role for Sharing Incident Templates

We have a need to allow certain Help Desk users to be able to share Incident templates with other groups that they are not a member of.   Currently they can only share templates with groups that they are a member of.   Is there a role or some other method to allow template sharing with other groups?   We are on Helsinki.

Hi Mike,

If you want it available for everyone, you should be able to by marking the global checkbox true if not you can allow the pick of template based on roles too which would make it wider.

On the Group field, on the Template, you could remove or modify the Reference Qualifier to remove the limitation:

Thank you both for the information.   After taking a second look, we decided to create a template group and add members that would need to share templates to that group. Since the template can't be applied to multiple groups, the template creator would still need to create duplicate templates to apply across the groups.   Having one Group with shared members will allow sharing of only one template.
