Hi,
I'm trying to create a 'Scheduled Report' considering the timezone. Unfortunately, no matter what I do, it's running in 'CST' that is the default timezone of the system.
I've tried these below:
-> set 'Run as User' to an admin user that have the timezone I wish. (Hong Kong) Didn't worked.
-> set 'Run as tz' to 'Hong Kong' (also to Asia/Hong Kong) and the 'Run as User' empty. Didn't worked.
I've checked for any Business Rule that set these fields (Run as tz and Run as User), Script Includes, UI Actions, and I didn't find how those variables are set. Could explain how those fields are used/set or how can I solve this issue and start considering timezone in my Scheduled reports?
Best regards,
Sergio Gadelha

Hi all,
Just to let all of you know, I probably did misread the articles about Scheduled Reports and had a lot of confusion.
First of all, let's remember that the date and time fields are displayed based on User Timezone Preference (That you can change in your profile).
So, when you are setting the Scheduled Report to be sent on 1 PM, you are setting to 1 PM on your User Timezone Preference. Let's say on GMT -3.
In order to store that, the system converts that Date Time to System's Timezone. That way, if an user see this Scheduled Report record with another User Preference Timezone (Let's say GMT -1), the user will see that scheduled to 3 PM.
Important: Always, schedule a report based on your USER TIMEZONE PREFERENCE. If your timezone preference is CET and you need to schedule a report at 5 PM IST, just change you User Timezone Preference to ISP and then schedule the report. I'll be much easier and you avoid errors converting through timezones.
Best regards,
