Hello @RohitGeorgV ,

Actually, with the Zurich release, scripting in ServiceNow adopts a deny-by-default approach. Unless a user has the snc_required_script_writer_permission role explicitly assigned, they cannot edit scriptable fields like Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, UI Actions, and more

Hi @RohitGeorgV

 1. Check your Application scope . If BR in one scope and you are trying it to open from different, it might be read only in that case.

2. If it is ServiceNow protected file, in that case also , it will show you read only. Only Vendor Servicenow support /technical team can edit it.
