Since we've upgraded to Geneva, the scroll bars work differently on related lists. You cannot use the scroll bar at the bottom to move over to the right to see all the columns when you have more columns than will fit on the page. You have to use the vertical scroll bar to scroll all the way down the list to the bottom, then use the horizontal scroll bar to move to the right, then go back to the top of the list (if it's a large list) to see the columns. For example, if you go to Callers and look at the Requested Items related list. Is there any fix for this?

Hello Richard,
just to make sure I understand you:
Are you saying that with very wide lists the horizontal scrollbar is always visible , even when at the top of a 100 records list so that you never need to scroll to the bottom?
I am, also on Geneva with the latest patch and the most current IE11, but am experiencing this issue. This means that when viewing a long list I cannot at the same time see the column headings and the horizontal scroll bar making scrolling sideways hit and miss...
thanks
Richard

I know what you are talking about now and it is irritating. We have the same issue, but most of our related lists do not have that many rows.

Hi Rich!!!
So we're on Geneva Patch 7 & U11.
I tested with Geneva Patch 9 with IE11 & Chorme and it doesn't work. So we're stuck on U11 until we can get the fix. We had a ticket on HI but they closed it, so like Kimberly, I plan to open a new ticket and have ServiceNow open a problem, so that we're informed when they plan to fix it... I last heard that it would be in the Istanbul release. But who knows?

ServiceNow has been notorious in the last couple releases not fixing major UI issues until the "next" release. We have submitted several issues as far back as the Eureka that were not fixed until Helsinki. I guess it is their way of forcing constant upgrade. That would not be bad if so many of the UI enhancements did not include an equal number of new defects and everyone had a plethora of developers to constantly test the upgrades against their customizations. Most upgrades break old legacy features that ServiceNow does not have automated test cases for and are used by they longer-term customers.

I totally get it and I don't see it changing any time soon.... I did find on the KB that a fix was in for the Helsinki Patch 2 for the issue. I'm running that version so here is the PRB631171 record that was address in that release, in case anyone wants to test it, if they're on that release.....
thanks
