SCTASK creation without approval approved in RITM

Once the catalog item has been submitted, the RITM will be in a pending condition, awaiting approval. The RITM will automatically close after six days if the approver is not approved for 6days . After six days, the corresponding SCTASK is also produced and moved to the closed state.

We want to know why SCTASK are being created without approval  approved and how we can resolve this. Would you kindly assist with this?

You need check the flow behind this logic may be workflow/flow designer whichever is used for this logic. Please check it to see if by mistake task creation is added to it. Looks like the flow has a step to create task when the state RITM is moved to closed and this again changing the state of task to closed. This can happen if someone tried to recreate the flow by coping an existing flow and forgot to remove the task creation step.

But in workflow there is no extra step added to create task after Ritm close .
Still in confusion how it got creating. Is there another way I can check on this?

You need to check the workflow of this catalog item.

Check how it is configured if RITM gets close after 6 days.
