Searching without a wildcard

If searching a list through a Go To field without the use of a wildcard is supposed to sort the list by that field and then display all records whose field is of greater than or equal value, then if I search through "Short Description" using the string "server", shouldn't the display be all records that start with a word that is alphabetically consequent to "server"?
I ask because this is not what has happened. I performed this search and none of the four results' Short Descriptions start with the word "server", and only one even contains the word.

Hi Daniel,
Can you include screenshots. I'm not sure what the issue is. It sounds like you got some results, but without seeing the filter, it's hard to tell exactly what's going on.
If you type in server in to the short description of the Goto search filter, it will still default to ">=" so anything that has "time is up" or "xylophones are cool" will appear in the search as well.

Hi, Chuck. The results do make sense to me now. I'm not sure what I was thinking yesterday.
Thanks.

No worries Daniel. It happens to all of us.
