Selecting 2 model categories for a product model.

Hi Folks,

Lets say 2 model categories are selected for a product model being Hardware and Software License. So if asset creation is enabled on hardware and not on Software and Asset tracking strategy is set to "leave to category" which one should it follow

And for the same scenario in which table the Assets be created - in alm_hardware or alm_license?

In the scenario where both "Hardware" and "Software License" model categories are selected, the asset creation settings play a crucial role. Since asset creation is enabled for the "Hardware" category but disabled for "Software," the system will prioritize the "Hardware" category based on the asset tracking strategy set to "leave to category." Consequently, an asset will be created in the alm_hardware table, reflecting the active asset creation setting. However, for the "Software License," no asset will be generated due to the disabled asset creation feature for that category.
