Hi all,

This is also a known issue at servicenow but has anyone found already a workaround on how to make attachement visible on kb articles via the Self Service portal?

Regs,

Quite a few users have had this issue as well. Please view my response on a previous thread - Attachments don't get displayed in the new portal (Helsinki)

You can also download the widget I created on share - ServiceNow Share

The widget will display the attachments as downloadable links if "display attachments" checkbox is checked on the article and the widget is placed on the KB_article page.

Please let me know if you have any other questions!

Thanks a lot. Your script makes the job.

DO you have any idea on how to add the login switcher on the Self service portal?

please, can you help on this thread Self service portal: Add language option on login page

May
I ask you a couple of questions about attachment on KB articles in Helsinki
Service Portal.

1. I am using your KB attachment widget. I do not understand how to attach
the widget to the KB article page. Do I attach to the page or the widget
object?

2. By the description of the widget on Share, I thought the article would
open in the browser window without asking to save or open. Should it work this
way? each time the attachment is downloaded by the browser and does not automatically
open.

Thank you for your response
