Self Service Portal : How Enable Notification preferences

Hi all,

I need your help on how to enable the notification preferences on the Self Service Portal in Helsinki?

Does anybody knows or has an idea on how to do it?

Sorry on Self Portal view and not Self Service


Thank you for the clarification. I was looking at the ESS CMS portal. You must be referring to Service Portal.



You could create a link to a simple widget that includes the link to the preferences page in an iFrame.



The link is based on the one found in the UI action:


notification_preferences.do?sysparm_user=" + gs.getUserID() + "&sysparm_userName=" + gs.getUserName();


I will try it.


However, there is no "Iframe" with the Service Portal if I am not mistaken.

Any luck with this? Yes you are correct, content items do not function in the Service Portal. I have the same requirement for allowing users to subscribe to notifications through the Service Portal. All "end users" are redirected to the Service Portal and therefore won't see the Native UI where that can be done through the "Profile" icon in the upper right.



I don't know why this functionality wouldn't exist in the Service Portal.

Hi,



No way to do it at this time with the new delf service portal.



We decided to add a link "notification preferences" and it points to an iframe (olf cms style). It is not ad fancy as the new portal but at least it makes the job for now.


I upgraded to patch 2 and no help on this.
