Sending Emails in ticket

Hi there,

 

I remember seeing a video that spoke of vancouvers ability to have the emails to be sent simply from within a ticket (say incident/Ritm). Can anyone please advise on how to do this.

Hi @ZakAmin,

 

Are you referring to the 'Email Client' which allows you to send an email directly from within a record such as Incident? Or are you referring to 'triggering' an email from an event such as an update (Email notification)? I assume the former and Email Client...

 

See the below link and screen shot. The Email Client is configured for a number of 'Task' records such as Incident, Problem and Change as baselineline configuration and is found under the ellipsis icon (...) on the top of the form next to the (UI Action) button - as shown below.
