Hi,
For catalogs I have updated the categories. I am facing issue in workflow,
Before update : the categorization as below
main category - ServiceNow
sub-category - DEV
After modifying the categories of all catalogs, modified 50 catalogs into different categories, after the change's workflow is not triggering the approvals, task not created. what should be the cause and how category will impact the worklfows.
After Update: the categorization as below
main category - SAAS
sub-category - ServiceNow
sub-category - DEV.
I am wondering how the category relation with workflow, if there is relationship between the catalog category and workflows where we can find.

Based on my understanding, changing the category should not affect the workflow, as the workflow is attached to the item. There may be other reasons why the workflow is not triggering.

Do you have any condition in flow that checks for category to decide the approver? please ensure there is no overlap

it should not impact unless your workflows are checking the category and sub-category in your workflow
Did you check that dependency?
If my response helped please mark it correct and close the thread so that it benefits future readers.
