Service Portal and Service Catalog not reacting the same way?

I have created some UI policies and client scripts to handle the visibility and mandatory nature of some variables on my catalog item. When I test it out using the "try it" UI action for the catalog item (I believe this is the service catalog), they all work correctly. But when using the service portal, they do not. How is this? I thought there was no difference between the two. Please help. Thank you.

Hi @Erik Stuer,

 

If you are using scripts in UI Policies and Client Scripts, then mark the UI type as All.

Please ensure that Catalog Client Script must have UI Type= All.
