Service Portal - Help displaying first name above "Search"

Has anyone been able to achieve this. Our helpdesk manager wants this to display First Name of User. I haven't found a way to do this. I thought I saw something some years ago but now I can't find it. Anyone done this that would care to share how you achieved it. Thanks
