Service Portal widget development prerequisites

Hello Guys,

I am completely new to service portal, i have been asked to do some modifications to the widgets in the portal, i do not have any scripting knowledge and can anyone tell me 

on what parts i must focus on...

from where i can learn the concepts related to the widget

what technologies are needed and the source

In how many days generally we can cover learning these concepts.

Please suggest!!!

It is good to have working knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS and Angular while working on ServiceNow Portal.

The portal helping you to create a Application with the help of widgets, container in ease of drag and drop .

Then the End user , business side ,custom who ever can use this portal with the help of portal login credentials created by admin. 

And also you can import the catalogue item,record producers here with help of widget.
