Good morning all
I would like to know if I install the ServiceNow add-in for Microsoft Outlook, does it impact anything just by activating it? The reason I am asking, I would like to test it on my own Outlook first to see how it works and then we would like to deploy it to the rest of the organisation. I do not want to break production obviously, that is what I am afraid of.
Regards
Thereza

Well... best practice for activating anything is to first do this on a non-production instance. Installing something on PROD before testing will cause issues if you decide to not use it. Uninstalling often is not possible.
Just install it on DEV or TEST and validate it there. If it doesn't work as expected, you can get rid of it with a simple clone.
Please mark any helpful or correct solutions as such. That helps others find their solutions.

Thanks Mark, I thought so too, but I am not sure how to test the mail part in Dev as dev don't send out emails and I want to test the ServiceNow 'button' in Outlook. Any ideas of how I can test that?

Hi Thereza, I have installed the plugin & have uploaded the manifest file. But it's showing error in outlook. Can you help in troubleshooting?
