Hello Folks 👋

 

There seems to be an issue with the ServiceNow Tasks Module's "Tasks Task" where the instance won't validate, even though the steps are 100% complete. The previous instance was validated and I even redid (include validated) the previous instance under the default user, as well as "Platform User". No matter all trouble shooting steps done, which include multiple debug simulators, the instance won't validate. I am now convinced this step will not ever validate, because even the debug simulator indicates that it is ok to get an 80% with the step not validated. Does anyone know what the trick is to get the instance to validate on this one, such as what at the correct directions, etc? I have attached the screen print to prove that the step has been completed even though it doesn't validate. I appreciate everyone's feedback 🌞

Hi @MariaParis,

 

Try to move the Card on the VTB to another column, refresh the page, then move it back to "My Requests" and try to re-validate. Eventually, try to end impersonation and impersonate once again, sometimes it gets stuck in some unpredictable way...

 

Eventually, check the previously made steps, whether there was not any forgotten update to the particular PRB record, especially if there was copy and pasting, even a blank space or typeo can bring troubles..

 

TLDR, retry the whole thing again and check the previous steps.

@MariaParis No I got it!!!

You shall rename the whole Board to "My Requests" not the first column, the first column is supposed to be "Problem".

See my screenshot and once you re-do the column names, it will be 100 % validated.

Don't forget that the columsn order is impacted by the Board title being in the first column:
So rename the Board to My Request AND
My requests to Problem AND
Problem to Incident AND

Incident to Change 
and the last one I cannot see in your screenshot.

If the task isn’t validating, try messaging the Virtual Agent chatbot on the course page or just email University Support — they’ll help sort it out quickly. 👍

Hello Chadan,
I did both these steps before coming to this board 🤩. It has been 3 days that I have been trying to resolve the issue 🥺, every way possible 💪.
The virtual agent spins indefinitely or states to go to debug stimulator, which I did over 8 times. The debug stimulator says that I may have the titles wrong, which I checked a gazillion times and redid a gazillion times- and still the instance won't validate. I am 100% certain there is a validation bug.
I have two cases open on this issue, the first case closes without a resolution, thus I re-opened it. 

I would like to see where this matter goes, but I might just give up and settle with the 80%
