Set workflow inactive

HI Experts,

Please help I want to make a workflow not usable any more basically inactive.

I checked out and did 'Set Inactive' but still when I am raising requests i see that workflow triggered.

I went to Workflow versions there are multiple records for that workflow including True and False , but i cant modify them ...

in right navigator still i see the workflow.

Please guide me the correct way to make a workflow inactive so that it does not gets triggered.

I was trying all above but was not working. so I made it Inactive in workflow version and did a back it asked me if I want to save or discard . SAVE and then it got saved.

Could you try navigating to workflow->workflow versions i.e wf_workflow_version_list.do ->search for the workflow and then set the active flag to false.
