Setting a forced view via View Rule not working?

Hi all,

Created a View Rule for a new Custom Scoped App I'm doing for a business unit. While the default view is obviously fine, I have a seperate view type for a different type of request that arrives into the team

Here is the view rule I made

But when going to a record that is Request type Edit, I can see a null at the top of the window, and the Vendor Edit View has not been forced

Any ideas where I'm going wrong here?

View name is what is showing when I go into Form Design and its what I named it

Hi,

you have to specify in the View Rule the exact name of the view in the View field value, go to System UI > Views and copy the name.

Hi,

you have to specify in the View Rule the exact name of the view in the View field value, go to System UI > Views and copy the name.

Thanks for this. Checked the name in the View list and system had added "_" into the white spaces

 

This is working fine now

Is there any null view which got created on that table?

is the view name correct in the view rule mentioned?
