Setup Service Operations Workspace

Hi everyone, I have some questions about Service Operations Workspace setup.

In my PDI which was upgraded to Utah, I checked my instance to see if there's something new and I found that a new workspace called "Service Operations Workspace" is available.

When getting started with new workspace by reading in documentation to set up, I saw that there's a plugin needs to be installed which is "Service Operations Workspace ITSM Applications"

I also checked it in the plugin list below: (currently, it is not installed yet)

Check in documentation: https://docs.servicenow.com/bundle/vancouver-it-service-management/page/product/service-operations-w...

https://www.servicenow.com/community/service-operations-workspace/faq-for-service-operations-workspa...

My questions are: Is it necessary to install the plugin while SOW is available in the instance from Tokyo/Utah version during the setup? What are differences in the aspects of SOW (UI, Implementation, Customisation, features, limitations and so on) between the plugin is installed and not installed?

Thank you!

Hi @dokhiem_nguyen ,

As per your screenshot it is already installed in your system. It is showing the update button, if you would like to use Utah functionalities.

Thanks,

Abhishek

Hi @dokhiem_nguyen

If I am not wrong, from Utah onwards, SOW is coming as default and as per your screen shot it is come when you upgraded the instance. So nothing to worry on this.
