Show all journal fields

Hi,

I've upgraded to Helsinki and within the incident and problem form there is a show all journal fields button, which you could select to show one journal field or all journal fields.

I would like to remove this option and show all journal fields as defaults on all forms.

Any advice would me much appreciated.

Hi Adam,

Make changes in below property from properties list and then try.

Property name: glide.ui16.live_forms.enabled

Value: false

In Helsinki there is no such property as "glide.ui.activity_stream.multiple_inputs" so it shows 2 checkboxes saying IT work notes and additional comments . Is there any way to make them as one check box and toggle between two journal fields .ctomasi odijkpradeepksharma Could you please let us know your thoughts on this one . It would be of great help

It should be a user preference.

User Administration > User Preferences

Create a new one

Name: glide.ui.activity_stream.multiple_inputs

System: True

User: empty

Type: String

Value: true

i tried to create a new user preference but still the problem persists.

Cant make it as a single check box and the show journal fields icon disappears as soon as we show all journal fields .HELP!!

There is not a current functionality to allow users to hide the button, but there is an enhancement request for this. The enhancement would allow authorized user (such admins) to hide the button 'Show one journal field' or 'Show all journal fields'.

If you are interested on having this enhancement in a future release, you can help your cause by opening an incident on HI and asking to associate it to the already existent enhancement request FTASK28242.
