What is SMTP email notification?

How can we edit the layout of SMTP notifications.

I have a SMTP email notification, I've added the screenshot as well. how can I edit the layout, look and feel on the notification.

 Hi @Community Alums ,

SMTP email notifications in ServiceNow send automated emails through an SMTP server. These notifications are triggered by events or conditions like incident creation, status updates, or change requests.

  1. Navigate to All > System Notification > Email> Notifications.
  2. Open an email notification record with name.
  3. On the form, open the What it will containtab.
  4. In the Message HTML field change layout as per your requirements.

The above procedure will work for a normal email notification, but not for SMTP notification. How Can I configure a SMTP email notification.

How can I find the notification record based on the email.

you can check notifications list view body contains with the preview email content.

There is some connection configurations for sure, but I can't see any configuration for email layout.
