Some Catalog item will appear Default in the popular items section ?

Hi All,

I have Business Requirement in Service portal, Some Catalog item will appear Default in the popular items section, the below items and ordered should be followed in popular item in service portal.
catalog items are:

 

software

hardware

computer 

report type

report upload

mobile

laptop 

this catalog item should be displayed default in popular item  section in service portal

Seems it is not possible, as popular item run with some logic in back ground means, how many time a item is used / ordered and it will displayed and order generated by system only.
