I have a dashboard in Service Operations Workspace (SOW) home page with four different visualizations, and I'd like the list of records opened from each visualization to be automatically sorted by a specific field.
The sort order would be different depending on the visualization. For example:
- Visualization 1 → sort by Due Date
- Visualization 2 → sort by Major incident state
- etc.
This needs to apply to all users by default, so personalizing the list is not an option.
I tried configuring a Chart Interaction and setting the action to Go to URL. In the URL, I added the sort order using a query parameter, for example:sysparm_query=ORDERBYDESCnumber
This works correctly when opening the dashboard directly, but it doesn't seem to work when accessing the visualization from SOW. The list opens, but the ordering is ignored.
Has anyone found a way to define the default sort order for the record list opened from a dashboard visualization in SOW? Is there a supported method to control the ordering based on the visualization being clicked?
