Standard Catalog Item Portal Settings

I want to change the request method on my SCI from order to request but no matter how many times i change it and update it, it won't change and it will still be order now. I have even tried editing it in the Catalog Builder and resubmitting but that does not do anything either.

 

Any help is much appreciated.
