Can request directly link with a task without RITM?

If no, Why & what is the relationship between them?

FWIW, it's easier to modify the cart layout these days using Service Catalog> Maintain Cart Layouts. No more modifying OOB UI macros.

I was referring the same if my comment wasn't clear enough.

But Chuck - It's kind of property/relationship record driven but they do use macros still.
