There is requirement if we rename the assignment group then old ticket will be maintained

HI All

 

There is requirement if we rename the assignment group then old ticket will be maintained, its will not renamed with new assignment group like we we take vps group then all the request assign to vps group but if we rename the group(mno) then it's will assign to mno , how its possible it's does not change assignment group for request ?

Not possible case, as you are changing the name and Group is reference so it will impact all records (old and new both), This is as per deisgn n logic.
