could any one figure out why the option is grayed out,

even if there is annotation or not the option is enabled but now this option is grayed.

verified with system properties not able to recover this problem.

The only time I have seen it greyed out is when there are no annotations on the form to display. Validate this by going to the Business Rules table and checking those records. I KNOW there are annotations there. If you don't see annotations and you don't see the option to turn them on, go to Configure> Form Design and verify the annotations are still on the form.
