Translated Texts are populating fields on my record producer when submitted

i created a translated text field on the cmn_department table to help with the french translation.

What is happening, that french translation when submitting the record producer is populating the string fields of the request when i want just the english ones

 

how can i prevent this?

Would you be able to share screenshots of how you've configured the field and the issue you're facing? A little more information might help me understand your problem better.
