Tree Picker group selection

I have a hierarchy of groups, done with some inactive parents groups attached to the active child

In the example attached, "Business process owners" is an inactive parent group, and all the "EM******" are the active children.


I would like to be able to select only the active groups, or the second level of hierarchy (the same for me) in the tree_picker selection.

Why do you have inactive Parents? Can't you simply fix the data by not putting active children under inactive parents?

I have inactive parents because I just want to sort them by category, nad I think there is no other way than have this parent/child setup.

So the parent = group inactive (I don't want that we can select them)
child = active group (to be selected)

Did you manage to do this.

I have a similar requirement, I don't want user to select Parent from hierarchy. I want user to be able to only select child, parent should be disabled.
