Type Domain ID Field clear explanation

Hi All,
Field Name - type
1)Domain - Domain ID
when I didn't give any reference table in reference it will automatically showing group (sys_user_group) names in the field.
Please let me know is there any OOB functionality is like that

I have created on custom table. in that table I have created field Name: Domain with type Domain ID.I didn't mention reference table but by default it is showing as sys_user_group list.
For more clarification Please try create any field with type Domain ID. please let me know still you have dought.

In PDI also you can check when you create fields under the table . Domain ID Type is available
Note: Type of Field is Domain ID
