UI Builder: Components menu item missing in Zurich (on-prem)

We just finished upgrading to Zurich (patch 11) from Yokohama on our on-prem lower instances.

I was looking forward to using the Components editor part of UI Builder.  However, I noticed that the "Components" menu is not present when I open UI Builder.

In App Manager, UI Builder shows as being up-to-date, but version 28.0.24.  On my PDI the version of UI Builder is 28.2.80.

Our on-prem UI Builder version:

If the older version of UI Builder on our on-prem instances is the likely reason for the missing Component editor, how would we update UI Builder to its actual latest release?

Hi @Yann Dubois2

  • Ensure you have the ui_builder_admin role and that your instance's plugin is up to date.

  • If still issue persists, Repair The plugin
  • Clear the instance cache using Cache.do in Navigator and try

@Tanushree Maiti I added the ui_builder_admin role but it does not make any apparent difference.  As I mentioned in my post, UI Builder is as up-to-date as I can get it from the App Manager.  I've tried cache.do but also no change.
Could being on-prem be the reason for this apparent discrepancy between UI Builder releases?

Hi @Yann Dubois2

I am guessing the same . May be On -prem is root cause here.

To get it confirmed, Will suggest you to raise a case (Hi-Ticket) with your Servicenow vendor for the assistance.
