Unable to use PDF extractor in the App Engine Studio provided under Table builder.

There is a requirement to extract the details from the pdf file and create a table accordingly in ServiceNow. But we are not able to get the option to upload the pdf file for extraction as illustrated in the documentation link given below:

Please help us out if we are missing anything, the following are the steps we started with:

1) install plugins pdf extractor and table builder for app engine.

2) grant sn_app_eng_studio.user role to system administrator.

3) open app engine, open custom app and click on add under data heading.

4) Ideally we should get a option create a blank table and upload a pdf but after clicking create blank table, upload option is missing.

Any help on this would be much appreciated.

It looks like the PDF extractor failed to be installed properly. 1) try to repair the plugin and if this does not solve the issue open a case with servicenow support.
