Fairly new to the platform, not 100% on the terminology.
We have some automation that's causing problems and I'm not sure where it's coming from. When a Property Manager transfers an Asset to another Property Manager, the Asset is put into an "In Transit" status and the Assigned To (the employee who is using the Asset) is blanked out.
While I completely understand why this would be automated this way, we'd like to turn off the part where the Assigned To is blanked. If we can't do that, is there a way to re-populate the Assigned To field with the last value it held once the transfer is accepted?
I looked through the Business Rules for one to deactivate, but nothing jumped out at me.

Hello @jameseverso ,
You can simply remove || (current.install_status == 9) from the business rule 'Clear Assigned To on update' which relates to the 'In transit' state. If this is a concern, you may also choose to deactivate the business rule.
Best regards,
Hajar

Hi @jameseverso
There is table called Asset CI install status and hardware status mapping.
Also the BR run in background to sync this.
This video will be helpful.

Thanks for all the responses, guys. Yeah I had spotted that rule and found that KB, but for some reason I didn't see where the KB defined the statuses. I'm chalking it up to scrolling-text-fatigue. I will definitely look into that table AG mentioned, but for right now just deactivating that rule gets me where I'm going.
Anyways, much appreciated!
