Update set hanging during committ

Hi All,

I'm trying to commit an update set from DEV into TEST.   It is get almost to the end of the commit and then hangs:

What would cause this?

If I select cancel it goes to a state of partial commit - how can I find out what has committed and what has not?

Whenever I have an issue like this, I check out the 'Progress Worker' where it shows the status of the Update set. sometimes, the update set would have committed, but the display just doesn't move.

type Progress worker in the Navigation filter bar.

I've just had a look and can see:

As this says it is committed does this mean everything has committed even though I had to hit cancel on the progress bar that displays whilst the update set commits?

Is this happening to just one update set or all?
