Update set not capturing changes to workspace landing page

Hello

How do I commit my CSM configurable workspace landing page to production instance if the changes were not captured by my current update set?

(i created a variant from the default CSM configurable workspace landing page and made the changes there, also changed the view order so that my landing page is the first one to be exhibited)
