Hi All,
I need to update control owner and issue owner of an entity.
1. While updating control owner do i need to update all downstream controls of that entity or only directly related controls of that entity?
2. How to update issue owner, i couldn't see any owner field on issue form. Do i need to update assigned to field instead.
Thanks in Advance

1. Updating Control Owner: -
The decision to update all downstream controls or only directly related controls depends on your organization's policy and the specific requirements of the change. - If the control owner is responsible for all downstream controls, then you should update all of them. If the control owner is only responsible for directly related controls, then you only need to update those. - You can update the control owner by navigating to the specific control record and updating the 'Owner' field.
2. Updating Issue Owner: -
In ServiceNow, the 'Issue Owner' is typically represented by the 'Assigned to' field. - To update the issue owner, navigate to the specific issue record and update the 'Assigned to' field. - If you do not see the 'Assigned to' field on the issue form, it might be hidden or not included in the form layout. You can modify the form layout to include this field. - If your organization uses a different field to represent the issue owner, you would need to update that specific field.
Hope this helps you.
