I have a medical customer that has the ServiceNow system for their helpdesk. Would like to be able to perform an in-context launch from my application.
We do this for other medical systems within the facility.
You start with a base URL
http://www.externalapplication.com/
Then we dynamically add a Patient Identifier along with necessary parameter(s) needed by the external system. So that when the user of our application has the Patient selected, they can launch the url to start an external process.
In this case the facility would like to start a ServiceNow ticket to their internal help desk.
Would like to know if this is possible and what parameters need to be supplied within the URL to allow for a ticket to be initiated.
