User Preferences and Clones

We are on San Diego (Polaris) and cloned from Prod down to Test and Dev.  Pre-polaris, I would just need to export my user preferences and import them after the clone to maintain my favorites, etc.  I did this for our first clone after Polaris, and my favorites are still all wiped out and all of my preferences are gone.  Is this normal for the Polaris UI?

Never heard of this scenario before. It should not work that way, regardless if you have Polaris or not.

Can you share some details on how/what you exported? Maybe that can explain what happened.

Another option to explore is to use data preservers in your clone profile to preserve data such as favorites.

For favorites you just need to export a XML from the sys_ui_bookmark.list
