VA form pop up block

Hi 

 

Newly discovered the form content topic pop up block, which works for incidents i.e. i can as per in this link create a new incident using the pop up New in Tokyo release - Create a pop-up form to fil... - ServiceNow Community

 

I want to use this feature slightly differently, that i utilise the pop up which is directed to a specific catalog item so a new item can be requested.

 

E.g. if i have an admin rights va conversation, it might be as part of the conversation i want to direct them to request admin rights using our admin rights catalog item

 

Not sure how to do it - if i copy the sys id the catalog item it says it cant access the form, and when i created an incident instead of a sys id as per the link i put '-1' in the sys id field to create a record so not sure how this would work
