View column not showing in report->configure->stack by

Hello,

I built a database view on Idea & metric instance table to pull the duration & duration state column. Need to build a bar chat report to group by Idea# to show how much time Idea was in each state. Trying to do the stack by on 'duration state' column from the view, but the column is not showing in the column drop down.

Any idea how this can be achieved, or is this a bug ?

Not all types of fields can be used for stacking in a report. Is "duration state" an out-of-the-box field or a custom one? I can't find it in my PDI.
