Waiting for execution data

Hello,

I have imported an update set that has flows and subflows.  The set had some errors which we selected to accept the remote updates.

Most of the flows worked fine, except for one that does run and get queued with the message "Waiting for flow execution data."

I eventually re-saved in the process in the instance were we imported the update set.  The one flow that had an issue got stuck while trying to save until I refreshed the screen.  The Flow did run fine after that.

My question is that what does the message "Waiting for flow execution data." indicate is wrong, and why it stopped after the flow was re-saved in the instance.

Hi,

The message you received - 'Waiting for flow execution data' simply means that for some reason the execution data isn't available yet. There must have been an issue during the processing of the flow where it wasn't able to complete and/or return the execution data. I can't find anything else online to suggest what the issue could have been - although since re-saving has worked - it could be a one off glitch. 

I've experienced something similar in flow designer where the save hangs and I need to refresh / re-save.

I deactivated and activated the Flow when I had this issue and it seems to have solved it as well.
