Watch List for Group is same as OOTM watch list field?

If we are creating a watch list and it is referring to sys_group table so it is working  same as OOTB Watch list field?

Is there any backend script or anything I have to change or not to work my customize Group watch list field to work same as OOTB watch list field!!

The watchlist is just that: a list field for the sys_user table. You can add other list fields for other tables if you want. What is your question? Did you do it and isn't it working?
