CI Attributes are nothing but the fields that particular configuration item. For example, if you take the Windows pattern, the CI attributes correspond to the fields of a Windows server.
Temporary Attributes - These are the attributes that are created temporarily to hold some information. They need not be available on the CI. The main purpose of these fields is to hold values that will be used in the later steps of the pattern.
