we are triggering a mail to a group while incident is assigned , and that is triggering to all group members
now customer given a mail DL also to notify
if i keep DL in the group mail field , what happens if the group member mail already available in DL , what happens if group member not available in the mail DL?
what is use of group mail on group table
Any chance of duplicate notification ?

Hi @shabbir5
When you add a dl to the Group Mail field in the notification, the notification will be sent to all members of the DL.
If a group member is also part of the DL, they will receive the notification both through the dl and the group mail, potentially causing duplicate notifications.
If the group member is not part of the DL they will only receive the notification via the group. The grp mail field in the Group table is used to send notifications to the entire group or a DL. To prevent duplicate emails, enable or disable the "Include Group Members" option in the DL configuration according to your requirement, which ensures that members who are already in the DL won't receive the notification twice.
Thanks,
Raj
