Why can't I see user preferences menu item?

Hello. I was looking for a way to make Tabbed Forms be the default for all users. The following post seemed to explain how to do that easily: Toggle Tab Set to "ON" by default

Unfortunately, I don't see the 'User Preferences' item under 'User Administration'. I am in Geneva UI16, and I have the ADMIN   role. I also added myself to the User Admin group. Below are the only options I see under 'User Admin'. Any ideas? Thanks in advance for your help.

Hey,

Navigate to 'modules' and in the list search by preference. Check out if its active or not, and if it is then what are the roles on it.

If you just need to see the data ocne and not regularly and also dont want to open this to everyone then dont look for the module...just access the user preference table directly . You can do this by either appending this in the url

<instance name>.service-now.com/sys_user_preference_list.do

or just type this in left nav

sys_user_preference.LIST

Hi James,

Search ''Preference'' in Left Nav

Also,

After you get a new role , you need to log out and then log back in for it to take effect.

Thanks Anurag. unfortunately, I still don't see it. I logged out and logged back in. Below is what I see. Any other ideas? Is there some module I need to turn on?
