Why does AI Search Indexed sources does show up kb_knowledge table in source field?

In AI Search Indexed sources, under source field I am not able to see kb_knowledge table. But we have the ootb AI Search Indexed source with kb_knowledge in source field. But when I create a new record I am not able to get it.

Hi @Nive G ,

 

It could be due to one of the following reasons:

  1. Security constraints: It is possible that your user role does not have the necessary permissions to view the "kb_knowledge" table. Check your user role and ensure that you have access to the table.

  2. Table indexing: It is also possible that the "kb_knowledge" table has not been indexed for AI search.

Hi Nive G,

 

Why do you want  to create new Indexed source in "knowledge table" if OOTB is already present?

Also if you want to customize results for any of your specific portal, just go to "Search source mappings" tab and create a new record.
